WHICH COMPRESSOR IS USED IN ALPICOOL TWW35 FRIDGE?

Alpicool TWW35 Fridge uses LG refrigeration technology. Alpicool is an LG Electronics strategic partner.

WHAT POWER SOURCES CAN THE TWW35 FRIDGE CONNECT TO?

The TWW35 fridge can be powered from 220-240V AC grid through an adaptor supplied,  12/24V DC car battery through an adaptor supplied, or back-up lithium battery supplied if AC/DC power is not available. The battery will also charge simultaneously when the fridge is connected to AC/DC power.

HOW MANY WATTS DOES ALPICOOL TWW35 FRIDGE USE?

The TWW35 fridge's rated wattage is 60W.

DOES ALPICOOL TWW35 FRIDGE HAVE A BATTERY?

The Alpicool TWW35 fridge features a detachable battery. It recharges from the DC plug in your car (running the engine is best, or for a very short time you can charge the battery from the car's battery) or the AC plug in the house, garage, motel, etc. The fridge battery can also be recharged using solar panels rated 100W or 200W.

HOW TO RECHARGE THE BATTERY?

The battery is charged simultaneously when the fridge is connected to AC/DC power. If you want to charge the battery separately, switch off the fridge and connect the battery to 220-240V AC grid, or 12/24V DC car battery, or 12-50V solar panel. If the battery is fully discharged then it is recommended to connect it to AC power first, after charging it to 30% or more, the battery can be further charged with other charging methods. When the battery is charging, the power indicator turns green, and the four blue battery indicators will show the charging status; when the battery is fully charged, the power indicator will turn off, the battery indicators are always on.

WARNING! Do not charge the battery with 12 DC power and solar panel at the same time; this will damage the refrigerator!

HOW TO TURN THE BATTERY ON/OFF?

Long press the switch button of the battery to turn it on/off. When the battery is off, press the switch button to display the charging status (it will go out automatically after 3 seconds). When the power indicator is green, it means the battery is charging; when the power indicator is blue, it means the battery is discharging; when the power indicator is off, it means the battery is fully charged.

ATTENTION! 1. When the battery is not fully charged (the power indicator lights are green), it should not be turned off to extend the battery life. It is recommended to stop charging once the battery is fully charged.  2. If you plan not to use the refrigerator for a long time, then we recommend fully charging the battery, and then turning it off.

HOW DO I CONNECT MY ALPICOOL FRIDGE?

You can operate an Alpicool TWW35 fridge with an in-built control panel with an LCD screen. An Alpicool APP for mobile phones is available. How to link the APP and the fridge: Download the Alpicool APP from App store or Google Play, then open the Bluetooth and the APP, search the product, choose the fridge and the 'AP' letter will appear on the fridge's display panel. Press the setting button to connect the mobile phone and fridge. Each Alpicool fridge includes a user manual which explains how to link the fridge and the mobile phone.

WHAT SHOULD I DO BEFORE UNPACKING THE FRIDGE AND STRAIGHT AFTER?

1. Check for any sign of damage of the packaging material and/or the Alpicool fridge before unpacking. If any damage of the packaging or the Alpicool fridge is observed, take a few photos of the damage, and send it to info@energian.co.uk. If you unpack without taking photos, it might be harder to get compensation.

2. After checking for any damage, take the fridge out of its packaging and keep it at room temperature for at least 12 hours to avoid problems with the compressor. After 12 hours you can turn on your Alpicool fridge to test it.

WHAT SHALL I DO WHEN THE FRIDGE DOES NOT TURN ON OR HAS DEFECTS?
Please contact Energian Customer Services straight away and we will attempt to resolve the problem first, or offer a replacement if required.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR THE FRIDGE TO COOL DOWN TO -18°C?
The cooling time depends on the ambient temperature and how many items are placed in the fridge.
1. If the fridge is empty, then it can cool down to -18°C within 1 hour, depending on the ambient temperature.
2. If the fridge is fully loaded, then it cools down to -18°C in around 2-4 hours, depending on the ambient temperature.

AFTER I PRESSED THE ON/OFF BUTTON, NOTHING HAPPENED AND THE SCREEN DID NOT DISPLAY ANYTHING. IS THE FRIDGE DEFECTIVE?

Press and hold the ON/OFF button for a few seconds, then it will turn on.

I GOT AN E1 ERROR CODE AND THE FRIDGE DOES NOT WORK, WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO MY FRIDGE?

The E1 error code means that the low voltage protection is activated, and the input voltage is lower than the default value of the protection level. Lower the protection level according to the instructions in the user manual and the fridge will turn on again.

WHY DOES THE TEMPERATURE FLUCTUATE?

The main reason is that the compressor will stop working after the inside temperature reaches the set value. When the temperature rises by about 3°C, the compressor will turn on again. To achieve the best food preservation temperature set the temperature about 3°C lower than the ideal freezing temperature.
